Our road here was long, a story best told over a shared bottle of wine. It is interwoven with entrepreneurial spirit, community building, and a heartfelt mission that led us to this peaceful vineyard.

Our journey began in Frisco, TX. It was not just a business venture but also about creating a community hub at our home. For nearly two decades, we've hosted gatherings where food, music, and meaningful connections blossomed. These events laid the foundation for our commitment to uniting people and forging lasting relationships.

In late 2021, guided by faith, we discovered BarnHill Vineyards, previously nurtured by Dean and Joy Dickschat. This felt like a divine calling, a moment we were destined to embrace. Leaving our “comfortable” suburban life in McKinney, we embarked on this new chapter, managing 40 acres and welcoming our growing family of rescue horses and donkeys.

Today, BarnHill Vineyards continues as a testament to our dedication to community and connection. It's more than a vineyard; it's a unique space where friendships are kindled, and cherished moments are shared. From live music events and wine tastings to Sip and Shops and private celebrations, BarnHill offers the best unplugged, relaxing experience in North Texas.
